Installing PrintKey 2000


PrintKey is a program that takes a snapshot of your screen. It is activated when you press the PrintScreen key and allows you to capture the entire screen or any portion of it. You can then make changes to the screen capture and save in a variety of formats including .gif, .bmp, .jpeg, .jpg, .emf and .wmf. You can also swap colors, convert to grayscale or black and white, change picture size and send to the printer.


To install, copy the attached program to the following location:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
 
PrintKey will start each time you boot your computer. To start it immediately, go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and double-click on PrintKey.

To use PrintKey, press your PrintScreen button. The PrintKey program will pop up containing a snapshot of your computer screen. Use the controls at the top of the screen to send the snapshot to the printer, save, etc.
